Samantha Meehan GAICD brings more than 20 years of international experience across energy, mining, agriculture and infrastructure. Her career has spanned technical, commercial and governance leadership roles, providing a unique perspective and practical experience on how organisations create value, manage risk and navigate change. Her strengths come from an executive career spent integrating across disciplines and driving decision making in complex settings. She has a particular interest in portfolio management, investment decisions, business development and growth including scaling of new ventures and implementation.
As a former Shell executive, Samantha has worked across major projects, joint ventures and investments throughout Australia, Canada, Asia, Europe, Africa, Caribbean and the Americas. Today, she advises boards, investors and executive teams on strategy, governance, capital allocation and stakeholder engagement, drawing on experience gained in some of the world's most complex operating environments.
Combining international commercial and governance expertise with lived experience in agriculture and deep connections across Australia and Canada, Samantha brings a systems-thinking approach to the opportunities and challenges facing natural resource industries, regional communities and the energy transition.
